Explanation of Membership Options:

The difference between the waterfront bathhouses and those behind the main building is strictly location. Waterfront occupancy does not grant an occupant “squatter’s rights” on the boardwalk territory in front of the locker. There is such high demand and such scarce turnover that we have begun a waiting list for these bathhouses. If you are currently in a locker behind the main building and would like to move to a waterfront bathhouse, kindly state so on your application, and we will place you on our waiting list.

For administrative purposes, the term “family” refers to couples, or one or two adults (parents and guardians) and their single children under the age of 21. Names and ages of children under 21 must be listed on the application, in order for these children to be considered members. Membership options are defined as follows:

DOUBLE FAMILY OCCUPANCY

Two families share bathhouse. If you have a specific family with whom you would like to share your bathhouse, please indicate so on your application, and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

SINGLE FAMILY OCCUPANCY

Entitles one family to exclusive use of bathhouse.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

A single adult, anyone over the age of 21, shares a bathhouse with three to four other adults. If you are single and would like a private bathhouse, you must join as a single family occupant.

GRANDPARENT MEMBERSHIP

When a family joins, whether selecting a single or double occupancy, the family’s grandparents may share the family’s bathhouse for an additional charge of $220.00 (plus 10% state tax) per grandparent. Please Note: On weekends and holidays, the grandparent must come in the same vehicle as the family.
